Sportster 883 verses 1200

I am trying to decide whether to purchase a sporty 883 or 1200. I want a motorcycle that’s a 2000 or newer year and I was hoping someone could tell me what is the horsepower rating for these bikes. Currently, I am leaning towards an 883, but if there is a major difference in horsepower, I may decide to go with a 1200. Thanks.

Hi,I have a 98sportster 883. Although i'm quite happy w/it and don't really want more power,it sounds like you would be better off w/ a 1200cc. ron.

don't matter, horsepower shouldn't be your concern. even if I bleed orange and black, no one can pick your style but you. 883 is still a harley so if you like it buy it.
