I've noticed there seems to be be many more woman riding motorcyles these days.  I think its great seeing a woman who shares the same interest and enjoys riding motorcycles just like me.  Does anyone have a wife or girlfriend who rides?
My girlfriend rides occationaly with me.  At first she was very reluctant to ride because she wasn't comfortable, but now she enjoys the feel of the bike and wants to learn how to ride a motorcycle.  I've started to teach her, but its going to take time till she feels confident to ride alone.
Ya, there are many woman riding.  In fact, women account for about 10 percent of motorcyclists in the U.S. today.   Woman also are the fastest growing segment in the this $9.7 billionn dollar motorcycle industry. They even named the month of July as Women's Motorcycle Month.
Did you know that about 15 percent of Kawasaki's motorcycle sales are women?  Harley-Davidson's sales are 12 percent women buyers. To some this may not seem much, but there appears to be a rising trend in woman riders all around.
According to the latest trend of more female riders, motorcycles are being produced that are lower to the ground so women can plant their feet firmly on the ground.  In addition they are making narrower seats, softer clutches, adjusting handlebars and windshields to make bikes more comfortable and easier to ride for smaller female riders.
Well I got to say my 125lb wife rides my flhtcui and I am proud to ride on back and wave at every car we pass.. She has a 2001 lowrider and a 2007standard trike. Hell we make as much in harley payments as we do our house payment..Gotta love it..
