yeah sounds like bunk gas i seen this happen recently to six bikes at one station also i have seen that same problem and it was the ignition module but i would rule out engine mechanical problems as in fuel and compression

From my experience, there are several things that can contribute to your bike’s problem. It could be old gas or your running it too low on gas causing dirt in the tank to be pumped into the fuel line. It could also be bad gas at the gas station or a broken vacuum line. In regards to the spark plugs, make sure they are gapped to the right measurement. You can go online or call your local dealer to find out what the correct gap measurements are, but in my overall opinion, I think your problem is gas related.

I am looking for help on a 1991 Dyna. I was riding the motorcycle the other day and it needed gas, so I filled the gas tank up. The weather here is somewhat cool so I decided to hang out inside the gas station for awhile. When I came outside, I noticed the bike cooled off quickly, so I had to choke it to get it stated. About 20 seconds after it fired up, it began to sputter and eventually shut off. I fired it up again and it stayed running, but it sounded terrible. I checked the spark plugs and they looked okay. Today, I fired it up again, but it seems as though the back cylinder isn’t firing. Does anyone have any suggestion on what the problem could be?

im looking for a wideglide-midglide front end for my 2000 dyna - complete from axle(and all spacers) to top plate single or twin(prefered) brake-will consider raked or oversize i live in wellington new zealand and would appreciate help to purchase this item -thanks

I have a 2005 Dyna Low Rider. Since the day I bought it, I have to put in a quart of oil every 1000 to 1500 miles, depending on how hard I’m driving it. Is this normal for a Low Rider? Does anyone here have the same problem? I’ve noticed there is a lot of oil in the pipes and air filter. I always put in synthetic oil for about $10.00 a quart, which adds up quickly over time. Any suggestions to this problem?

I am looking for a chrome tank console for a 1997 Dyna Wide Glide. The one I have has an American flag insert that is yellowed and faded.

Yes, this is true.  When riding the 2006 Harley Daidson Dyna, there is a battery caddy bolt that can loosen.  When this happens, the batery can shift and possibly allow the battery terminals to contact the metal battery caddy cover.  The end result is a possible fire.  

To correct this problem, you can take your motorcycle to the dealership and they'll replace the center battery caddy bolt.   

I've heard there was a recall for the 2006 Harley Davidson Dyna.  Does anyone know what it was for? 

You should be able to fit a 140 or 150 on it.  Although it may be a tight sqeeze under the fender, it should fit regardless.  It aslo depends on the size of your belt. If the belt is 1.5 inch, then use the 140.
