I have a 1997 Harley Davidson FLHTC Electra-Glide motorcycle that produces a terrible exhaust smell. Sometimes you don’t smell the fumes, but on certain days when the wind is just right, the fumes make their way towards me. I decided to do something about it and changed my exhaust tips from slant cuts to Howitzer ends, thinking that the longer tips would push the smelly fumes out of my breathing zone, but it did not work as planned. Does anyone have a solution? Would a turn down tip solve the problem?
How to control exhaust fumes from my bike?
