Need help replacing grips

Boomer 2007-12-08	I was hoping someone could provide some instructions for replacing stock grips on a 2007 Softail. I need information on how to proceed, starting with getting the stock grips off. The only instructions that came with the Kuryakyn Pilot grips were a bright red sticker that read, “warning, keep the glue from the throttle open”. This is not much help for someone who has never done this before. So if anyone can provide better instructions, I would greatly appreciate it.

upchucky 2008-02-25	instructions are inside the grips. glue is inside the other grip. take your time. The instructions don't mention the spacer you need to place in the brake handle gap. a folded match book cover will do it. spueeze the handle and place it in the gap created. Slice the left grip lengthwise with a knife. It peels right off.
